This is another of Galle’s famous attractions, and was first built in 1640, though the current building came to be in 1752. This ancient and beautiful church has an interesting (and albeit morbid) feature: the floor is made out of Dutch cemetery gravestones. There are also other intriguing pieces that elevate the church as an attraction of its own, including an organ dating back to 1760.
